The orange band wagon moved into Shropshire today hoping to find the back of the net and a few points on the board.

Oswestry started strong and wave after wave of attack went unrewarded as the Wilmslow back line stepped up and absorbed all the pressure. Hannah, Emma, Sarah and Jane kept the green army at bay with the Steiger tiger on point to kick all shots back to our team and start the attack up the other end. Good link work between the mids and forwards saw lovely zig zag runs from Harriet and Olivia trying to feed a hungry Penny who slotted the ball home 20 minutes into the second half. Sophia unlucky not to score from a penalty corner. Midfielders Sharon, Hilary and Jane played a game of tennis midway through the game with high balls all round. Amy had an absolutely blinding game in midfield thwarting the Oswestry stalwarts from controlling the game down the middle. A late penalty corner saw the team in green equalise but with four minutes to play Wilmslow play a game of possession to ensure we came away with at least one point for all our efforts. A great all runs team game with everyone working together for the same aim. Well done Wilmslow 4's.
