The Beavers put in a good performance at home against Crewe.
Both sides somewhat depleted due to last minute injuries meant it was 9 v 9, and a tough day on a full size pitch.
Crewe accelerated off to a strong lead going 0-4 up all from short corner opportunities. Their GK made some terrific saves in the first half and Wilmslow were deemed unlucky not to have at least 1 goal at this point.
The 2nd half of the game was very different as Wilmslow grew in confidence and started to press forward with numbers.
Brooks (x2) and Fuller on the scoreboard but again the Crewe GK was outstanding preventing at least another 3 if not 4 almost certain goals.
Great character shown by our Beavers today.
