Thank you marshals!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and marshalled at the Wilmslow Running Festival yesterday.

Not only did our volunteers support a popular community event, they helped raise vital funds for the club.

Special thanks to Sharon Holford for organising us all at this race and over the last few years! This was Sharon’s last race - if you would like to help organise at any of our future races, please get in touch. Full handover and support is available!

Well done to the many club members who took part in the race itself.

We were again short of hockey club volunteers for the race - some of our volunteers had to marshal alone instead of as a pair, and we had to give away places and income to other organisations 🙁.

If you weren’t able to volunteer this time, please do your best to join the next one - we need everyone to contribute to at least one of the three races every year.
