NW Masters - 2025/26 Season

If you’re aged 34+ then you’re eligible for Masters hockey. Old friends and new faces will be very welcome to our regular Sunday gatherings (for men and women separately), the first of which will be held on SUNDAY 28 SEPTEMBER.

To join in, just go to the NW Masters click the button below and follow the instructions:

• Register so we have your necessary details (including emergency contact) and you’re covered by our insurance
• Go to the SHOP tab at the top of the page, and
• Buy a ticket to register for the relevant event plus pay £10 membership for season 25/26

In addition to these large-scale gatherings open to all men and women we are piloting some mid-week daytime sessions targeting older players who tend to play less for their clubs. See the web site for details!

North West Hockey is committed to supporting Masters hockey across the region. We are represented by clubs in both ladies' and men's national EH competitions which are run for various age criteria. North West Hockey will endeavour to link clubs which cannot support their own full squad for these competitions, so that they can enter as a merged multi-club team.

North West also runs their own Masters teams for Over 35, O40, O45, O50, O55, O60, O65 Men's and Women's teams and even O70's for Men. The NW area takes part against the other 7 Areas in England in the National Masters Championships for each age bracket. Players need to register via the Pitchero link below.
