Marshalling instructions for this Sunday (13th July)

Thank you to all those who have volunteered to marshal on Sunday!

Your role is to to give advice to runners, spectators and the general public to help ensure that the race goes ahead safely and is enjoyed by everyone. 

In doing so, you are helping raise vital funds for the club!

• In advance: Clubhouse entrance or Kit Room  Friday evening or Saturday during the day.
• In advance: Outside Sharon's house - 5 Rodeheath Close, Wilmslow, SK9 2DL from Thursday
• On the Day: From Kings Arms Roundabout from 0800 Sunday morning
• On the Day: Sharon and Martin will drive around the course on Sunday and will have spares.

• Check your assigned position on the list below - if there are any errors/omissions, let Sharon know ASAP.
• Check your assigned position again here on Saturday in case of late changes to positions.
• Medical Emergencies will now be called in via Radio. 
• Read the medical and emergency instructions below from the race organisers.
• Radios will be distributed by Sharon and Martin on the morning of the race. It is therefore very important you are in position by 8:30am at the latest !

• Marshalling positions will be available in the new few days.

• Please be in position by 08:30am at the latest to receive your radio!

Safety is our priority. Please have a mobile phone available. 

If a participant is in need medical attention, please contact onsite medical team

PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY

In the event of a medical emergency, the following procedure must be followed

1. For medical emergencies, 

• Radio marshals – push the large button on the left of the radio & give clear description of incident, location to nearest KM mark and participant's race number. Once finished speaking, release the button.
• Marshals without a radio – please contact Adam on 07779302914 or if in eye sight of a Marshal with a radio, relay the message via them.

2. For any other emergencies or issues, please contact either the events team on the below numbers or via Radio on Channel 8 or 16.

3. In the event of an incident we require names / contact details of witnesses & information about the incident.
