The team would like to point out that if these match reports continue to bear so little resemblance to the games, they will have no alternative but to appoint Mr Jones permanent DoD. 😀

This was a close game, both teams worked hard, however Wilmslow managed to get the win making the final score 2-1.

Wilmslow stuck to the press, putting lots of pressure on Longridge. After many chances Annie Rogan scored the first goal in the first half making the score 1-0.

Then we were awarded a short corner and Chloe smashed it in bottom right corner making the score 2-0. Wilmslow carried on and the defence were working amazingly to stop Longridge with their fast balls, but in the second half they managed to slot one past us. Wilmslow had more chances at the goal but were unable to get another. Shout out to Amy Nick with some great skills in the middle, dominating the play and making great passes giving us more chances to score. Amy Brace got a green card for not being 5 and arguing with the umpire.

Mom was Chloe who’s our top goal scorer at the moment 🤩.
