Beetle Drive and Social 15th October 2011 Come down to the club for a couple of drinks, meet up with your team

To kick off the evening, a Beetle drive will be played.
The aim of the game is to be the first player to draw a complete beetle - but the body
parts you can draw are determined by the throw of the dice. At beetle drives, players
often move from table to table at the start of each new game. Just abit of craic
to get the season kicked off. World Golden Oldies Hockey Festival - exhibition match!

Lee Edmondson's Memorial
Match 16th April 2011
This is
a friendly game which is open to everyone which is to celebrate Lee's life and also raise some money for Christies Hospital.
The general idea for the day is to meet at the club at around 14:00 with a view to start
playing at 15:00. The idea is that we will start with a Chairman’s XI team against a mixed team of current players,
as some of Lee's friends and family have asked to see a competitive game of hockey as some have never seen a game before.
We will then introduce the changes to ensure that everybody who would like to play gets some part of a game. This invitation
is open to all past and present members of the club of any standard, so please let James Bell know if you would like to play
by emailing j88bel@yahoo.co.uk

of our club. It's a great day and we all have fun cheering and clapping our runners around the course. As well as
